Happy birthday to Perkins! Today is another friend's birthday too and we went out to breakfast to celebrate. Good day for people.

When the kids were littler the shoes outlasted them. Nowadays they can do some damage to a pair before they grow out of them.

Indeed. And they get mighty expensive as they get to be teen boys with big feet. I keep pushing sandals without success.

And thanks for the hugs, but I'm fine; I was just bitching. It actually turned out to be a good day. I think I hit a major turning point with my seniors that may allow that class to be fun rather than exhausting. Whee! As for Zoe, poor girl, she'll have rice tonight and will hopefully be feeling much better by tomorrow.

I'm supposed to be here until 4 today, but tomorrow is BtS Night. I can leave early, right?
