Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Speaking of bags, does anyone have a recommendation for a laptop bag, maybe backpack style, that's decent looking and won't kill my shoulders? I'm starting to feel the strain of lugging my computer back and forth so much and the bags the firm provides weigh a ton all on their own.
Also, let me know if you want any tracks from my epic LJ post, yeah? I can probably pull together one of the mixes, if you like.
Thanks, I will!
Aw, thanks so much! It'll be a few years, though - he's a size 6 now.
Whoa. Lillian still wears a 6 in some brands (okay, Keens, everything else is a 7).
Guess all of her is undersized.
Aroooo?
You, too.
Brenda, they're pricey, but SF Bags from Waterfield Designs are highly rated for comfort and durability.

I have a Brenthaven bag for my laptop and it's excellent. It's going on 5 years old and is still in great condition. So far it has outlasted 2 computers. They are on the expensive side but I think completely worth it.
We could form a Buffista consortium and pass the shoes down from child to child. Docs last forever.
I've got to say, a lot of baby/toddler shoes seem to last forever. As Hec noted, Matilda has so many hand-me-down shoes it's ridiculous.

Matilda seems to be anywhere from a 5 to a 6 1/2--toddler shoes don't seem to be any more consistently sized than any other clothing item. She's still very comfy and happy in her size 5 Oshkosh sneakers, swimming in her 5-6 Target brand fake crocs, outgrowing some 5 1/2 Carter's, and exactly in between 6 and 6 1/2 in Target's regular shoe-shoes. Crazymaking. I didn't expect the size guessing game to start so soon.
Both the toddler and the grown-up Docs are drool-inducing. And I think it's important that somebody buy at least one of them--it's Perkins's birthday, after all, and shoe shopping is the perfect tribute to her Perkinsness.
The only thing more perfect would be a shoe shopping F,C,M.
tom bihn bags
made in the us -- inside of the bag not black -- so you can see things. not bulky -- on the brief case style on the short handles fall in -- not toward the outside -- the shoulder strap is shock absorbing it has a pocket.folder that you can hang on a hotel door with all you office supplies in in it..
Matt has had a billion and 6 high end bags costing twice as much . I think this one was the only one worth it the brenthaven and (other high end name ) were over priced and not flexible enough for the changing sizes of a laptops. this one fits a number of different sleeves.
{{Tom}}and an extra{{}} or two for Nora. It is so hard when you know they are good, but they aren't so sure.

DH has a Swiss Army backpack that he says is terrifically comfortable. Looks like this.
I am so ready to join the bubble wrap briggade.
First I fall and skin my knee and ankle. Then I bit my tongue so hard it bleed.
Someone just wrap me up and prop me in the corner, please.
