Timelies all. Zoe had a good first night. She slept happily in the bedroom on her bed and gave Drew a loving greeting when he got home at 2am. She snapped at Byron when he got too close to her food, but he walloped her, and I don't think she's likely to bother him again. He practically raised her, and she's generally really good with cats. Both Mia and Byron recognized her. They ran up meowing and head butted her fondly when they first saw her, which was adorable. Seamus is not so sure. He's never met a dog before, so he's spent a lot of the past 12 hours puffed up exactly like a Halloween cat. I have pictures I'll have to share later. I can't believe I'm a dog owner again! I hope it all works out.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, Kristin! So happy that you have Zoe back in your life.
On Facebook, I've been reconnecting with a bunch of college friends from band-- on the Marching Chiefs alumni group, someone's been scanning and posting old picture.
Well, at least I don't have an embarrassing hairstyle to live down in this one.
Pix, I'm so excited you have Zoe back in your life. It sounds like quite a group you have at the house now!
Welcome to California, Zoe!
Thanks everyone. The logistics will be a little tricky, but we'll work it out. And yeah, we have a menegerie now. I wouldn't have chosen to add another animal to the mix (if we ever lose this rental, we're screwed), but it's nice having my girl.
congratulations on your menagerie, Kristin!
Thanks Laga! You have to come and visit her. Oh and get those clothes if Meg wants them. I'm not sure when I can get down there with them, but we'll work that out if you can't come up.
it's raining in Dallas. We got some wind. Nothing major. So far so good.
I also got to sleep in!!
omnis - good to hear. It's been raining on and off all day here too. Could that be the influence of Ike stretching all the way up to n. Illinois?
I have the absolute worst UTI I have ever had in my life. I was actually crying in the ER this afternoon. I sure hope the Pyridian kicks in soon!
