So a kid wants to play bass, so her father buys her a bass.
She goes to a lesson the first week, and dad asks "what did you learn this week?"
She says "I know the first five notes on the fourth string, dad!"
She goes to another lesson the second week, and dad asks "what did you learn this week?"
She says "I know the first five notes on the third string, dad!"
The third week she comes home late smelling of cigs & beer.
Dad asks "what did you learn?"
She said, "Learn, nothin'....I had a gig!"

I miss the night shift. Cat woke me for snacks,pets, purrs and around of inappropriate peeing. I am awake and not sure I can relax my vigilance yet

By this time tomorrow I'll be somewhere on the bike course. Eep!
Thanks y'all. For the first time in yonks, I was asleep before 10pm. I don't think I can credit Celexa with that yet, I think utter exhaustion just took me. Still nice to have a good chunk of sleep and be awake at a reasonable hour.
