Does anybody mind if I pass out?

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I use checks for the electric and gas bills and D's daycare, and that's it. My checks still have my address from 2 apartments ago on them because I use them up so slowly.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I know nobody cares about this, but I don't have anybody to ask -- can I go with Cohen's "Anthem" as a theme song, or is it too pretentious and I should go with Apple's "Extraordinary Machine" instead?

I know neither of those songs, Emily. I had thought about your question, but I didn't think you wanted your theme song to be country :).

Well, if we assume no one will know either of the songs, I guess the question is: do I want to submit the lyrics "Ring the bells that still can ring/Forget your perfect offering/There is a crack, a crack in everything/That's how the light gets in" or "I still only travel by foot and by foot, it's a slow climb/But I'm good at being uncomfortable, so/I can't stop changing all the time"?

What country song, by the way? I tell you, everybody I eat lunch with was thinking country. The other question is about most memorable concert, and they were all mentioning Garth Brooks and Martina McBride. Me, it's all "Far-left probably lesbian bands you've never heard of." And synth-pop.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"I still only travel by foot and by foot, it's a slow climb/But I'm good at being uncomfortable, so/I can't stop changing all the time"

I like this one.

I'll probably go with that, then. Of course, I also wish I could think of something really metal or goth.

I agree.

Of course you do! See, this is why you don't want my country suggestions!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

"Anthem" is such a wonderful song, though.

Dang, I probably could have made some metal suggestions. I'm sorry I missed. Though I do like the lyrics you have there.
