Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's a shame, really. If you were in hell with the ducks, you could roast them over one of the open firepits and have a delicious home-cooked meal.

That is the tastiest version of glass-half-full I've ever seen. Well done!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was this close to a "when life hands you ducks, make confit" platitude, but I resisted. Almost.

(Between the ducks in here and the pie in Natter, the board is making me hungry. I should go heat up my dinner.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Mmmmmmm, roast duck. I had duck for the first time when I was in New Orleans last spring, which was a really good introduction to the dish.

Mostly lurking...

Ok. I know this is going to seem silly, but it's 8:30 p.m. on a school/work night, and I'm not ready to fall over. Ok, almost, but still. Last week I was crying for two hours by this point. Maybe the taper will stabilize and work. I'm SO relieved.

I hope so. I'm glad things are looking better for you.

Now tagless for your comfort.

GC, I hope you guys get your awesome honeymoon. You need the break. One thing that I was glad of my mother's incredibly huge, close family is that they all shared time with their father, each taking their turn taking him in and taking care of him until he died.

Jessica, now you know where the myth of the changeling came into being. It's like someone takes your darling, sweet baby and replaces them with a little screaming monster. Liv's been in a major 'sode for the last two weeks and boy, does she know how to push her boundaries.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fuck, I hate this city sometimes. They closed the entrance to the highway for some reason, without detour signs to the next entrance. So, I got totally lost and had to call TCG to figure out how to get home. I know it's my own fault for not knowing this city as well as I should by now, but right now I am hating this city and myself. As well as trying to calm myself down from an anxiety attack.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, you would love -- it's on wheels, wood, and looks like a simple cabinet, but the top splits open into two to give you extended smooth counter space, a deep well for bottle storage and holes for shot glasses and highballs

Swanky! Invite me over for drinks. I can make you a pink drink.

Sean, those are Hell Ducks. Seriously, that's not duck nibbles. That's more like having surly weasels in your Bermuda shorts.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

cornstarch baby powder. Can't hurt, right?
Did you mention a bacterial and yeast combo infection? If so, corn starch may feed the yeast.

The status is NOT quo.

How did I not know about Ludo's "Love Me Dead"??? I am in love with this video and am watching it over and over and giggling.

Jilli...and so many others on the board...you must love this!
