t family vent

For fuck's sake, why are L's aunt and uncle so selfish? L's grandpa lived with my MiL and FiL for 7 years in the mid-late 90s and then went to live with family in North Carolina. He's been there for probably 7 or 8 years. He has spent NO time at L's aunt and uncle's and they bellyache any time he wants to come out for a visit. Well, grandpa is now insisting that he doesn't want to live in NC any more. Aunt and uncle tell L's mom they can't do it - would be too much strain on their marriage. Like it was NONE for the 7 years he lived with L's mom! L's mom is in therapy and still grieving over her husband who died after 2 YEARS OF FUCKING ILLNESS!!!! Now she has to worry about this? Oh, I'm so pissed. I'm tempted to call those MFers and tell them to MAN THE FUCK UP! IT'S YOUR TURN!!!!

Sorry for spewing. I'm just so fucking sick of this shit that's been going on for years and years. We're having crying MiL over tonight to hash it all out yet AGAIN.

And Ike, while still no joke, has dropped considerably in strength-- sustained winds of 80MPH down from 120 earlier this morning. Let's hope he wusses out before he causes more grief.
