Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sean, Drew, this is crazy. I hope you both start spending much less time in hospitals as soon as possible. And Sean, lots of good advice here--I hope it works.

I went to a cemetery showing of Rosemary's Baby. It was very effective. That was when my movie buddy and I fully realised we were underusing the cool of LA.

Because books.

I went to a cemetery showing of Rosemary's Baby.

Oh, I am DESPERATELY jealous. How fucking cool.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{sj}}} No, you did not at all come off as snippy. I think I came off as grumpy-pants. I hope your meds kick in quickly so that you feel better. I am weaning off of mine and am wondering if that is why I'm grumpy lately...

I was extremely grumpy pants about the plethora of baby showers, wedding showers, and weddings I have been invited to over the years. I figure it's my turn. I never thought I would get my turn, so it's kind of weird.

“Not dead yet!”

Mooshu update: his bloodwork's completely clear, thank the doggy heavens. Doc seems to think that even though it's an atypical response, that in all likelihood, the antibiotics for the skin issues are killing his appetite and/or making him nauseous, so she suggested going to pick up some Zantac 75 and giving it to him twice a day and seeing if that works. If not, then we'll look at discontinuing one or both of the antibiotics. I may have to start thinking of some holistic types of treatments for his skin. Poor noodle.

Oh, and Bev, I suggested the tooth/throat thing-- Dr. Maria said they'd palpitated and checked everything out and nothing appeared to be blocking his throat and I've had my hands all over his teeth and in his mouth and he hasn't exhibited any distress, so that's probably ruled out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Heeh - I'm with Amych on this one.

Sean, ND, and ita ALL need to start spending less time in hospitals. I believe I have already made my views on this matter abundantly clear and if the universe does not comply to my wishes in a timely manner I WILL CUT IT.

I'd post a rant about how work is making me want to cry today, but it seems rather shallow and petty compared to some of the crap being hurled at way too many of my friends. So I'll keep it brief - work is making me want to cry today. If anyone knows of a wealthy eccentric looking to leave me all of his/her money, please let me know so I can quit.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Laga, since you've been pimping my show so wonderfully, feel free to give this link out as well: [link] It's the Director of the show (who is also the head of the theater) talking about it, and the upcoming season.

(something to distract from all the gloom, since I can't do a jig and see y'all smirk at my ridiculousness)

Love the Mythbuster thing. Hilarious!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I went to a cemetery showing of Rosemary's Baby. It was very effective. That was when my movie buddy and I fully realised we were underusing the cool of LA.

Oh, fun! Creepy fun, but fun. That devil-rape montage still freaks me the fuck out.

ION, I transformed an old hamper, a big unframed mirror, an old silver ballgown skirt (Sophia wore it at the Chi F2F),a fringed black velvet scarf and a glass sushi tray into a vanity. I am very pleased with it. I've always wanted a vanity.

I was the queen of rearranging this weekend. I put together a tall bookshelf my folks gave me for my birthday (I also got a GORGEOUS round rutilated quartz (smooth) set into a simple 14K gold band -- love!), moved around my bedroom, cleaned my bedroom closet, moved an old-fashioned bar (Hec, you would love -- it's on wheels, wood, and looks like a simple cabinet, but the top splits open into two to give you extended smooth counter space, a deep well for bottle storage and holes for shot glasses and highballs) into the living room, so I can actually USE it.

I am doing loads of laundry right now.

I have also completely updated my debts, files and checkbook.

I have sent out 5 resumes and applied with two temp agencies.

I sent back two Netflix DVD's I have had since FEBRUARY and will now be able to watch Season 3 of Supernatural.

I moved the TV and DVD player back into the LR, and bought an extension cord so I can actually watch movies in the LR; my bedroom is now a supmtuous boudoir-type room.

I am so bored.
