Years ago I had a 1967 Jeep Wagoneer and a friend and I fixed the three on the tree manual transmission selector using pop rivets. Damn thing shifted like a dream after that, probably better than new.
'Out Of Gas'
Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Pop rivets are a great tool for fixing sheet metal.
My dad was a mechanic so I've always used his old tools. Unfortunately his pop rivet gun is 230 miles from me at mom's house. I figure the $25 for one down the street is cheaper.
The designs have changed a bit since he bought his 50 years ago, so it's a win.
My job this weekend is to keep DH sane.
If you think a Buffista dinner out, like at Shiok or your cafe, might help, let me know.
Well bite me. He swears he didn't say anything, that he wasn't near the kids that accused him and no one likes me, everyone picks on me. What the heck do I do with that?
I tried all my "get the truth out of him" tricks, no waiver. His sensai talked with him at karate, no change in his story. Blech, blech, blech.
See, this is where his history of not telling the truth and his history of getting in trouble are making me doubt him when I'd rather support him. I just can't and I hate it.
Oh, crapola, Suzi-- nothing, huh?
(((Suzi)))

Do you know why? Because of the storm?
I wonder if I'll be able to get to my lot on Wolfe? I need to go to the yoga tomorrow morning!
Oh, Suzi, I have so been there with Jake. All I was ever able to do was let him take the consequences at school and explain to him that this was the result of him *not* telling the truth (or the whole truth) and misbehaving. Also that the way teachers and administrators perceived him was very much his responsibility, you know?
Crappy day all around, it seems. {{{{{{{all da Bitches}}}}}}}
Me? I just got lost made two wrong turns and had to correct course on my drive to work today.
Don't ask.
