Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I love spcy + sweet so I put a little honey on my biscuit if I'm having spicy chicken but not even a whole packet's worth and maybe never again now that I know what's in there. Maybe I'll buy some honey straws to stash in the desk for the future.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Nope. I have to go to Ocala for my 'fix'.

“Not dead yet!”

No Church's here and there's only 1 Hardee's (15 minute drive away). This county also doesn't have an Arby's or a Chick-Fil-A, either.

Oh, man, it truly is hell.

Publix probably has the best fast food in the county. I'm in love with their popcorn chicken and sushi.

Mmm... I love their spicy fried wings and yeah, the sushi is really good.

Askye, is that Hardee's still on Tennessee, right off campus near the theatre school?

Hardees, no popeyes yes.

I think you have to go to Crawfordville to get Hardees. Or way out Monroe.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

We have a place in Chapel Hill called Mama Dips that has the best fried chicken and sides I've ever had.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll go there for dinner sometime this week.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Mama Dips

Oh, ye gods yes. The best ever, anywhere. (And Dip is real and amazingly cool.)

Aw, man, that's a shame. I have fond, fond memories of that Hardees-- that's where the buses would line up for Chiefs road trips. They were a smart lot-- they'd know when our road trips were scheduled and they'd make sure to have extra staff on hand. Nothing like feeding upwards of 450 hungover band kids.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

OMG, I want Popeye's now.

ME TOO. We should make it a weekend plan.

Ooooh, just saw this. I Approve. Perhaps we should pull megan in to our nefarious plans. (I was thinking the Mission Popeye's? We could thrift-store spelunk, too!)
