What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I used the Nuva ring before I was pregnant, and preferred it infinitely to the pill. Easier to remember to use & much lower side effects.

[edited to clarify that I did not get pregnant while ON Nuva ring. It was just the last BC I was on before going off it entirely to get pregnant.]

Punishingly Intricate

Easier to remember to use & much lower side effects.

Yeah, this is why my doc recommended it. I had a terrible time on the pill (worst side effect? lowered sex drive) last time I was on it which was ...many years ago.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Abstainance only birth control!

That will definitely increase your sex drive.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I should add that Ativan has been helpful for me; I know other Buffistas have taken it, and I think it's been helpful for them, too.

Ativan probably saved my life when I was going through the divorce. It was a godsend for me. (Valium was also nice, but the Ativan was much more useful, since I needed to be fully-functional more often than not.)

Huh. I should look into the Nuva ring.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

um ... I was on Zoloft for six months or so after I had my stroke; I was badly depressed and, seemingly, it's good for your brain. It helped.

Ativan and Zoloft. I'll look them up--thanks!

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I liked the Nuva ring. I had mildly stronger cramps and sore boobs than with the pill, but it was nice to put in and then pretty much forget about it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I liked the Nuva ring.

Count me in the love camp. Which reminds me, I need to find a GYN here and get a new perscription. My cycle is SO much easier when I'm on the ring. Living in NGA land means the other benefit of the ring isn't such a big deal.

Now tagless for your comfort.

sj, yup. Not bragging since I've gained every ounce back but post-preg I was thinner than I had been in 10 years. It was nice while it lasted.

I gained 20lbs with Liv. No diet.
