Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm thinking maybe no on the hiking, and going to synagogue instead, since I haven't been in a while and I feel like I ought to go a few times before Rosh Hashanah.

We've also got vague plans for a paintball game, pure math people versus applied math people.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I figured he was prepared for all clothing related emergencies.

Yes, in the sense that if a skirt zipper busts or the fabric spontaneously combusts, he has about 50 more to choose from.

JZ's right, that stuff will curl up like a pillworm.

Keen. I'll just cut it, then.

I've always just turned the slip down at the top.

The slip is *so* long that I would have to roll it several times, which would cause bunchiness and lumpiness at the waist, and given that I have natural lumpiness at the waist, I don't want to add to it.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

count me among the craxies who would've loved to have seen the glowing compressor.

Add my name to that list, too.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Secrecy, surprise were goals of McCain's VP search

Yeah, well, he is trying to step into Bush's shoes.

ION? The cat Harvey is sitting on my mouse.

Trying to post with tab...nope.

I guess I have to move him. Can I use a cat for a mouse?

It's a clear the-whole-mouse-is-a-button type.

Perhaps if I push down on him just so...

Thrive to spite them

I have skipped because

I've cuddled my nephew! He is the cutest most alert 2 week old baby EVER! No seriously he went to his appointment and the ped said he was developmentally about 3 months old in some aspects.

Like his eyes being open and looking around! He's so... just.... adorable and wonderful and amazing and I held me and read to him and talked to him and he's just. Gah. There are no words.

But there will be pictures!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Congratulations askye! Looking forward to seeing the pictures. It sounds like you are totally under his spell. Blessings for a long, wonderful and special auntie/nephew relationship.

My sister-in-law is due on September 16 but I won't get to see 'the wee bairn' until Thanksgiving.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

He is the cutest most alert 2 week old baby EVER!

Well, he was practically born a toddler...

Our wings are not tired.

My niece is now scheduled to be induced on Sept 3rd. I haven't mentioned much because it is all crazy making, but I really hope the kid goes naturally before then. She is a teenager that just thinks babies are totally wonderful. Her idiot mother didn't let her go to birth classes because she didn't want to scare her! She has done nothing but sit on the couch watching tv or texting on her phone for 9 months. Her doctors and my sister and I have told her repeatedly that exercise is a good thing. Since she is now past her due date and the baby is over 8 lbs they have scheduled the induction. eta: her mother has been trying to convince her doctors to give her a c-section for over a month

We try and be there for the kid because her parents (my brother & his-ex) are useless, but there is only so much we can do. Kid has so little chance, and now her daughter is going to live in that environment. Sigh.
