All is well that ends in pizza.

I just found something creepy.

I had noted that the Google satellite view was updated for my house, so I checked out around town for landmarks to see when it had been taken. I dated it sometime in early summer 2006.

Then I started thinking about landmarks in other parts of the area.

I found that If I brought up a map of Minneapolis [link]

I could find the bridge that collapsed a year ago. Weird, but not unexpected to see it whole.

Finally the creepy part. It has "street view" pictures.

Pictures taken while the construction work was being done at the time of the collapse.

Not taken at the moment, of course...but still? Cree-pee.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

o_a has a cool dad. Perhaps I'm just impressed because my father never asked me what I wanted.
Ha! No. Not quite. He's a bit of a drunk. It was during the messy divorce with Mom. It was probably some passive-aggressive moment to get at mom somehow.

I managed to escape from the preview performance. Which meant i could eat dinner at home! I sit down in the evil chair to put the feet up and rest and watch some TV. What do I hear? An alarm clock? What the hell? So the clock next to the bed was set 12 hours off, and the 8:30 alarm was going off. Um. This might explain (a lil) of my troubles waking of late. I'm guessing I set it wrong when the power blinked a few weeks back. Life has been so frazzled, I hadn't even noticed. and people wonder why I prefer 24-hr time. Stupid AM/PM thing.

Did anyone else catch the Obama speech? OMG! So glad I got the evening off and was able to watch it!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I manage to sleep until 4am. I skipped the fact that Matt needs jobma~~~. There were some signs that could be benign, but could be bad. I honestly think unless there are major changes, he needs to leave, but I would prefer it to be by his choice.

and the cat seems fine, but Ihave to decide what to do over the weekend. Yes, I will be talking to the vet,but I want my answer now I wish everyone an exceptional friday.

“Not dead yet!”

job ~ma for Matt and kitty ~ma that whatever's going on isn't a huge deal.

I'm glad I'm taking the dogs in for boarding today-- for the last day or so, Mooshu has been scratching and licking at his groin and since he's been prone to skin issues before, I was concerned. At first, it was just red, from his licking, so I gave him some Omega pills and swabbed the area with the prescription aloe and oatmeal lotion, to try to give him some relief. This morning, though, his skin is dark, almost like it's a fungus. *sigh* It's tough to wrestle a hundred pounds of very furry dog to the ground so you can check his hoo haw when he most decidedly doesn't want you to.

At least, though, the boarding facility also has a vet, so I'll have them check him out and get him on some antibiotics if that's what's needed.

Mostly lurking...

Much job~ma for Matt!

Goodness...so much happening the last few days. Hugs and ~ma all around!

So, I think my dog is the only dog I know that gets extremely excited when his crate comes out. He's running around like a five-year-old that's getting ready to leave for Disney World. "I want to go NOW, mom!" He's going to be in doggie friend heaven this weekend!

Librarian Warlord

Job ~ma winging Matt's way!

Sassafras didn't want to go down off the porch this morning (it's raining here) and then when I finally convinced her there wasn't anything I could do and she'd just have to deal with the raindrops bonking her on the head while she peed and she went out in yard she wouldn't come back in. Contrary puppy!

Our wings are not tired.

TGIF - not something I normally say, but I'm over getting up and out to school so early every day. This morning the car battery was dead, and my van keys were in Miami in DH's truck. I tried rolling down the driveway and popping the clutch, but apparently my skilz are lame. Got a friend to jump me and took Brendon to school late then left the car running until it was time to take Bobby to the bus stop and now the car is parked nose out at the office. Guess I am here for a time. Also, a big thing I didn't think was going to clear yet happened and I have to deal with the red balance today. Ugh.

Job ~ma for Matt. He deserves a nice sane stable environment for a change. (stable totally looks spelled wrong to me)

Poor Mooshu. Brandy has times where she gets all inflamed too. A summer away from the heat and humidity helped her. Try and get some stuff in a spray bottle because it is sometimes easier to soak the area quick.

Lots of coffee required.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Ha! No. Not quite. He's a bit of a drunk.

So actually more like my dad, except he never had any reason to suck up to us, since my mom would not leave him.

Job~ma to Matt. It would be lovely if he could get a job paying him what he's worth in a place with less drama.

I just let the dog out and said, "Bark if you need anything." I think I'm pretty far gone.

Kristin, you have every reason to curl up around a bottle of pain killers. That stuff is exhausting and scary.

Neighbor's 4-year-old grandson: What comes after 12 grades?

His mother: College.

4-year-old: Can you come with me to college?

His mother: I can if you want me too.

4-year-old: Do they have candy there?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Best of kitty~ma for beth's kitty, and a side of job~ma for Matt.

I'm beyond gronk and into cranky. Harvey is sitting on my desk purring - at me this time, not the puter - and I'm not snuggling him....

Well I did just kiss his forehead, so he's not totally neglected.
