They're only doing it to help us!
Today's Two Lumps
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I think that if you didn't discuss it with her, it's hard to tell her she now owes you money.
Oh I was unclear: She knows we're buying tickets for the three of us to visit my family at Christmas, but we didn't discuss us covering the cost of her ticket. That was something we had planned to do behind the scenes.
I know I'm the crazy cat lady, but look at how pretty my little Momo is getting! [link]
She's a little cutie!
Momo is sooooo sleek.
I am not complaining about rain. Really. I'd just like to make a tiny suggestion to the universe that it spread it out a little more. Right now I have Lake Ginger in my back yard, and apparently there were a million dehydrated mosquitoes just waiting for water.
Kitten cute. Beer good.
Awwww. Momo's adorable.
I'm loving the rain, but the tornado warnings (currently 1 county over), not so much. Our office services manager is sending out email alerts. I think she hopes that if we feel in the loop we won't all be hitting weather.com for updates every 5 minutes. I think she's doomed to disappointment, but maybe people who aren't me are less obsessive.
*leaves to hit up weather.com again*
We had tornado warnings for three days, and had some small tornadoes, one of which took out some mobile homes. In the immortal words of Johnny Fever, "God hates mobile homes."
Pity only the one outlier is pointing up towards the Carolinas. Not that I want to be without power for a week, again, but we still need the rain.
