Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Seriously, why do I wait so long to take a pain killer and then when I finally do, why does it not connect in my head why I'm suddenly feeling better?

Hah! That totally happens to me too, ChiKat. I tend to take painkiller and then an hour or so later be all "hey, my pain is gone...oh, right!! painkiller does that!" I only wish the "being productive and making food for the week" part did too!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey! That gives me an idea.

No sleep for me, again. I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in at least a week. I denied myself a nap today in the hopes it would help and I took an ativan before bed. So, now I'm very relaxed and exhausted but still unable to sleep.

The status is NOT quo.

Happy Birthday to Barb!

Beth, gorgeous new floors!

ChiKat, you are my hero. I didn't even make it to the grocery store today, which had been my plan. I am rolling my eyes at myself.

I'm sorry to hear the insomnia fairy is visiting you, sj.

In meme news, I am annoyed. Today is the last day for students to post in the CTY class, which is a relief. However, I still have to write feedback emails for 14 kids for this week's work and then 15 final evaluations. I wasn't stressing too much about the emails since my supervisor had made noise about them being "shorter than the normal emails" since we're also working on the finals, but then he sent me some samples...which are just as friggin' long as the normal ones. I chose to work on my regular school work today--you know, the work for the school that pays me more than $13/hour--because I thought I'd be able to tear through these "shorter" emails tomorrow and Tuesday. Now, I'm thinking I'm a wee bit screwed. The final evals aren't due for ten days, but these stupid emails are due Tuesday at midnight, and I have no earthly idea how that's going to happen when I'm at REAL work all day both days and at a faculty picnic thing tomorrow night. ARGH! So much for getting sleep this week.

Oh, and to complicate things, said supervisor is on vacation all this week, and the person who is supposed to be covering for him seems to be having email issues. Everything I send him is getting "delayed" and bounced back.

Our wings are not tired.

6 is bad enough. Getting up in the dark is tough.

Happy birthday to Barb!
