Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Edit: x-posty

It's a secondary truck. ND has a number of people who drive the truck(s), and this fall he has two major jobs that overlap. He may sell the first truck once this fall is over.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

the situation: boys in the lobby are playing a video game. They're not doing anything wrong other than being very loud. One keeps shouting "boom!" at such a volume that it's making me wince. The parents are sitting on a bench nearby seemingly oblivious.

the question: is it worth it to ask the boys to please use their inside voices or am I just asking for trouble?

Our wings are not tired.

Fabulous job on the floor, Beth! Beautiful.

I didn't see the finale of QL. Must add show to DVD list. It was much fun when I watched it.

Yay for new truck and growing business!

We are back from our family movie adventure. It was fun. The IMAX is in the science museum so there was museumy fun too. And Italian Ice.

I gave the guys 3 choices wrt an Orlando trip. a)I drive my car and go by myself b)All or some of them go with me to see Hamlet 2 c)We all go to Orlando and I go to the movie myself while they entertain themselves otherwise. The result was a simultaneous cry from all of them of Universal! So, whenever we set a date we will pop up there and the guys will do roller coasters while I do movie. Whee! Mini-F2F! Askye, you should join us, although you do have a longer drive.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Whee! Mini-F2F!

I've been so excited about this prospect as well as seeing Hamlet 2

whenever we set a date

When works for you and Barb?

Our wings are not tired.

Next weekend, the week after. Don't want to wait too long because I don't know how long it will be showing.

eta: I'm running to grocery store so will check back later.

“Not dead yet!”

Ironically, next weekend (Labor Day weekend, yes?) I will be in Orlando, but of the Disney family visit variety and I doubt I'll be able to escape, since it's our last family trip for a while. And ACK, the week after is when Lewis is in Las Vegas for his manager's convention. (A nation's worth of Game Stop managers in Las Vegas-- yes, it's as scary as it sounds.)

It's possible I could break away during the Disney weekend...

::already pouting at the potential difficulties::

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Next weekend probably works better for me than the week after. The week after I have a Saturday morning until early afternoon meeting for the education association (I'm a site rep) but could leave after it is done.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Florida is way too far from Massachusetts.

“Not dead yet!”

Runoff from all the rain is over whelming the wastewater collection system and there's a major sewer main break that's going to keep a section of Capital Circle (one of hte main roads in town) closed for at least week.

ACK! Back in the day before it was as built up around Capital Circle, traffic was bad enough, I can only imagine what closing it now is going to result in. (Thomasville Rd is going to be nightmarish I'm guessing...)

Just came back from my almost birthday dinner-- Mitchell's Seafood. It's a chain, but darned good-- all the seafood's flown in fresh daily- I had ginger-crusted salmon with sticky rice. And for dessert, a java mocha cake with triple vanilla bean ice cream. Nom nom nom

ETA: Why is Leona Lewis wearing a DNA strand?

Our wings are not tired.

Very true, sj. I blame it on MM. Get to work there, dude. We need to be able to have spur of the moment F2F opportunities.

My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. The only thing that can alter the schedule one way or another is my niece giving birth, but there is a ton of family around and she would be fine with me visiting a week later if she happened to deliver when I was out of town.

Tomorrow when I am more alert I'll check the movie schedules and see how long it will be running in Orlando.

My boys being 14 and 16 are quite happy to lose me for a few hours and do Orlando stuff with dad.
