The only Quantum Leap I remember seeing was when Sam jumped into the mental patient just as he received electroshock therapy. Al had to solve the situation that had attracted Sam by talking to one of the other patients, who could see him.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I remember that episode, Magic, that part brought tears to my eyes.
There is sun outside or there was for awhile, I think I heard rain again.
And our flooding problems will not go away since the rivers flow south and as it rains and in GA and the water comes down == more flooding.
Over 150 trees have been removed from city streets. The city is asking everyone to limit their in home water use because all the holding ponds, lakes, regular ponds, ditches, etc are flooding.
Yesterday I didn't read this and took a shower, a bath, did a load of dishes, and a load of laundry....oops.
I really need to do more laundry and more dishes but that will wait, I am however taking a shower.
And I slept until 1 since I've been staying up the last few nights.
The Quantum Leap finale makes me cry every fucking time. And yet I have to watch it.

Me too.
Me too.
Thirding
I can't remember the finale. Looks like I will be putting Quantum Leap on the Netlfix queue... behind Veronica Mars, Entourage, Robin Hood, Dexter and Doogie Howser MD.
Beth, the floors look beautiful! No doughnuts but I have chocolate pie I can shove through the interpipes.
when Sam jumped into the mental patient just as he received electroshock therapy
I just saw that episode this past week.
Me too.
fourthing
I still love Quantum Leap.
now I'm hankering for Quantum Leap again. Dang it. I'm working through my Stargate fix right now. Y'all are no help with my TV addiction.
Oh boy.
Oh for the love of Christ.
Runoff from all the rain is over whelming the wastewater collection system and there's a major sewer main break that's going to keep a section of CApital Circle (one of hte main roads in town) closed for at least week.
The City has made the very reasonable request that people limit their in home water intake by limiting the use of dishwashers and washing machines. That's pretty much verbatim.
In the comment section on the paper's website someone left this comment:
So, the City of Tallahassee says:
1. Let your dishes pile up and maybe use paper plates! The next thing is to tell us that the landfill is too full, so don't throw away too much trash!
2. Don't wash you dirty clothes & go buy new ones! Then you will be improving the ecomony at Wally Mart and thus increasing the revenue at City Hall by the extra SALES TAX @ 7.5%
All of this sounds like a logical plan to be followed for at least the next 2 weeks! Yeah sure?
What I wanted to say was "Seems reasonable to me, I'm sure you'd hate it if shit started coming in your house because some asshole had to run his/her dishwasher and washing machine every day several times a day."
Instead I pointed out that it said, "limit" the use, they weren't forbiding it and what's so hard about doing this and being courteous to our neighbors so people don't have sewage in their homes.
