It was interesting when we were in the negotiation meetings with my biker landlords. The other 2 groups interested in the space were a church and a auto repair place. The computer geeks won the contest. They were a little confused by our random hours, but mostly they needed to feel the trust. We both have very pricey equipment.
Now I bring them baked goods and they help me lift heavy stuff and change my faulty brake light bulbs. Of course, they come to us with computer questions, but that's just life.
They have had a bit of a boost in business with the gas price crisis. Bikes are making a whole lot more sense.
I am going to regret watching Olympics way past my bedtime, again. When will I ever learn?
who?
Don't you even!
I was wondering how long that would take....
I was wondering how long that would take....
Me too.
I had gotten the press release, but had been so busy at work I hadn't realized that we have all lefties now. VERY cool. Not that it will get us near the playoffs, but whatever.
They're way short, but I had to turn off the TV last night when they said that one of them had started in gymnastics but switched to diving because she doesn't like to eat, and so declined to keep her weight up enough for gym.
Yeah, that was disturbing. Of course, I have no idea what I weighed at that height because I was probably well under 10.
ok, can go to bed now. That was fun. Alarm in 6 hours won't be so much fun.
G'night Bitches!
I'm sorry, Connie.
I used to be that person.
But I'm not now.
Because my computer gets screwed up a lot and I have learned that the techs always ask.
Also, that I need to say "I'm mobility-impaired. Please speak more slowly."
(Doesn't always work, but if I don't try, I waste everyone's time.)
Hec, thanks to Ken Burns, I know about the team of Senators.
(Oh, Keith, what I do for you.)
Although, in typical fandom-geek fashion KO and Ken Burns had a very thorough kerfuffle one time...KO insisted "Baseball" is horribly error-ridden. But that's what geeky fanboys(even smoking-hot, famous, geeky fanboys) do, and I figure it wouldn't matter when I'm at "Strikes bad. Tree pretty."
It's interesting. But I still know sod-all about the actual, playing, and stuff. Sometimes the announcers are all "Yay!" and I don't know what I am looking at.
I couldn't tell you what version of windows I'm running but I know where to right click so the computer will tell me.
Geeeesh....quiet in here.
That's because some of us were sleeping! Ugh, not anymore though. 15 minutes to first school run...
