Smonster, I can't tell you how happy I am that you COMMed my dad.
He shall achieve online fame and immortality through the BRQG!
he has added about 3" since January.
Wowza.
It is a big deal, heavy responsibility type thing. I'm both terrified and honored.
Congrats! I know it's scary but I have every confidence you will kick ass.
Someone brought fudge back from her vacation and I just had a slice. My bloodstream is now 50% sugar and 50% coffee.
Mmm, this actually sounds ideal. I think I'll go get some coffee, though fudge is currently out of my reach.
Or lunch. Maybe some lunch? Off to pester coworkers.
The crazy thing about CJ growing so much this year is that he still is under 100 lbs. Boy is a stick. At some point genetics will kick in and I'm afraid he will be screwed, but for now - his metabolism is amazing. I'm quite jealous.
I have a new laptop for work and it is tiny and wee! I love her!
OH! YAY! My next composition I'm supposed to write about my favorite Latin music! Good think I've been listening regularly! This will be EASY!

Oooh, who you gonna write about vw? Nosy music minds want to know.
Well, I went searching for the catchy song I've been humming all over the house for the last several days. Turns out it is Luis Fonsi's "No Me Doy Por Vencide." I kind of love it! I just downloaded it from iTunes. And I looked at the lyrics, and I actually kind of like them!
Oh yeah-- that one's on the Olympics CD-- Fonsi's new disc drops on Tuesday too. I have it pre-ordered because I am weak that way.
My latest favorite song is the duet that Alejandro Sanz did with Antonio Carmona, Para Que Tu No Llores. *swoon*
Sean, heh. I actually went looking for an English-Latin translator to see what "Now watch this drive" looked like in Latin and was equally frustrated. I can't believe the mighty Google has failed, but apparently you need an actual human ancient-languages scholar to do it right.
Is that the one that has a question in English and answer in Spanish? Because if so, I LOVE THAT ONE TOO!
ETA: Ok. It's not, but I like this one too!

I don't know whether to be disappointed in Google or relieved that our species still has some use!
