Another funny Emeline moment:
Joe and I were discussing future daughter names in the car on a our way somewhere. At one point I suggested, "We could name her Lila. And give her a bucket. And then take it away when she's bad." Joe and I laugh and Em yells,
"Don't take Lila's bucket THAT IS MEAN!"
in our house there were only two things that would get your mouth washed out with soap, the "n" word and "shut up".
My mom will still make a fuss if you say you "hate" someone. "Don't be ugly!"
I got this cheap package of sponges so I could make Owen and Olivia "Sponge Bobs"--I basically drew Sponge Bob on a yellow sponge. Of course, then Owen pulled out the construction paper and asked me to make him a Squidward, a Patrick, a Mr. Crabs and a Plankton. He's currently playing with them. Best $2.00 I've ever spent.
Cash, that is adorable. Also, I would like a sponge Sponge Bob.
Buffista kiddos are the bestest!
{{{Kristin}}} I hope you're on that LAX flight! Sending so much travel~ma to you.
So, I just spent like three hours grocery/household shopping at BJs and the grocery store. I cannot believe how much money I spent. I mean, I knew groceries were going up, and I had to buy a lot of staples, but WOW. Feeding a boy is expensive!
I also bought the best cookbook EVER. It's The Sneaky Chef: How to Cheat on Your Man (in the Kitchen) by Missy Chase Lapine. The boy doesn't like fruits and veggies. I've started to get him to eat a few. He actually ordered broccoli at dinner out with his parents. His mom was like, "Go you! How'd you do that?!" But, these recipes sneak in healthy stuff! I can't wait to try some and see if they're as sneaky as they say they are.
if you have a clay pot I can send you a recipe for chicken with broccoli and cheese sauce that is toe-curlingly good. It does have tons of cheddar cheese and sour cream but at least the broccoli is good for you.
Laga, that sounds fabulous! Do you mind?
post it Laga!
or send it to me too, please
