Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

broken cookies have no calories
eating while standing, same thing. Oh, and picking out of fridge, while standing with fridge door open actually BURNS calories.

“Not dead yet!”

I don't wanna go to Abby's teacher's parent meeting. Battle-axe thought it would be just dandy to call it for 7PM on a Saturday night with only three days' notice.

::is not pleased::

The temptation to bail is nearly overwhelming but this teacher has a habit of taking slights, real or imagined, and taking them out on the kids (although she's worse on boys than girls).

Missing one of her meetings would definitely qualify as a slight.

Feh.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

((Beverly))) thanks.

I thought they were! Have you asked? Would they? They should!

I asked. One of the 2 harpies basically said that they gave me everything they could and essentially 'handed' it to me on a silver platter and that if I couldn't do my part and 'fill in the blanks' what kind of teacher was I?

I had thought Lynn Johnston was going to a weekend format like "Foxtrot". Today was a frustrating yet lifelike strip.

"So you're not going to give me anything?"
how about a two-by-four to the head?

I bet she works for my school board.

Not only are all of these true, but it is also true that there are no calories on birthdays or holidays. (it is rumored, however, that the day after birthdays and holidays all calories count double)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

nuh-uh! I happen to know that calories don't count during your entire birth month.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Calories are a unit of measuring heat.

Ice cream is cold.

Therefore, ice cream has no calories.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Your logic works for me, Trudy!

Late to the party, but safe travels Drew and Kristin and best possible outcome for your mother.

I am finally released from durance vile. One week left on this contract and NOW they ask me to put in overtime. Eight hours, today. Bleah. The paycheck will be nice, though, and coming right before the end of the job, actually quite welcome. I think I need to stop for ice cream on the way home as a treat.

Work is being less distracting than I had hoped. As is the quietness of the board today.
