I'm not holding my breath for the last six months, for you OR Grandma, OK? Damn.
Ugh-- oh meara, what a MAROON. Jeebus.
And while the husband date itself was lovely, the being woken up a 5:15 by Jasmine who'd decided it was a grand time to want to be let outside so she could cavort in the sprinklers was not so much with the lovely.
wtf is up with Lynn Johnston? "For Better or For Worse" seems gratuitously cruel today.
I think I read that she's ending the strip soon.
Speaking of questionable journalism: when did Lake Michigan become a sea?
Oh, that's sad, but not beyond things she's done before.
My aunt fell in the shower the morning of her son's wedding this past March. She had surgery the morning of the wedding and was at the wedding doped on pain killers, bless her heart. I've always liked how Lynn Johnston really captures real life.

OK, Lynn Johnson isn't ending the strip, she's rebooting it: [link]

I've never gone back and read from the beginning so I'm looking forward to seeing her blend in the earlier strips next month.
Mom pointed out that it is very common for people with health problems to take a turn for the worse on big days like weddings so even though I'm mad at Ms. Johnston for going that way, I can't say it's unrealistic.
