Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Accident update:

TCG and the car in front of him shifted lanes at the same time. Then the car in front of him slammed on his breaks. TCG tried to avoid hitting him and lost control of his car. He's stuck halfway between here and work because the car was leaking so they had to tow it to the nearest mechanic. I'm waiting to see if he is going to get towed home or if I need to go get him.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

10 LBS!!!! That's not a baby, that's a HAM.

(congratulations, btw)

Last night I dreamt that myself, several Buffistas (the only ones I remember clearly are Jesse and Scrappy) and all of Fall Out Boy were competing in the all around gymnastics finals at the Olympics.

Patrick Stump was strangely zen. And he had an excellent floor routine. I think Ryland Blackinton was a commentator and said so.

Pete Wentz had a black leotard. It was long sleeved and covered all his ink. Reporters kept asking him about it which pissed him off.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Holy crap, sj! Glad he's all right, love - how stressful for the both of you!

And congratulations on the new member of your family, vw! Yay!

Art Crawl!!!

Interesting dream, Trudy. Gosh, I wonder what you were watching just before you fell asleep?

Wasn't it touching seeing Valeri Liukin crying when at Nastia's medal ceremony?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

TCG tried to avoid hitting him and lost control of his car.

Oh, ugh, I know just how scary that is. Give TCG a hug for me.

I stayed up late to watch the women's all-around and now I have a vente (20 oz.) caramel macchiato to make the gronk go away. Not sure it's going to work.

Poor TCG. I'm glad he wasn't seriously hurt. And congrats on the new aunthood, askye! It's an enjoyable state.

Speaking of aunthood, a semi-related family conversation:

Sis: So your niece has decided to study vocal performance instead of law, with a minor in teaching.

Me: Cool! She can perform on Broadway, get out before her coke habit gets too bothersome, then teach at Interlochen. Excellent plan!

Sis: Right. That's exactly the career arc we're hoping for.

sj, I'm very glad to hear TCG is okay. Accidents are scary, and I hope he's not too shaken up.

GC + DW! YAHOO!

Congratulations to Auntie askye!
