Re Phelps - have you seen what he eats? 8,000 to 10,000 calories per day! he needs that big mouth to shovel in the food. (taking a moment to envy him his metabolism)
The gymnasts are ... um ... lost my train of thought there.
I was watching last night and saw the one gymnast who fell from the rings - one hand slipped, he tried to do his dismount, and ended up falling. ow!
Jilli and GG - last year Tahari had a number of nice Goth-friendly jackets. Even discounted they were too expensive for my taste (as well as being unfindable in my size), but you might keep an eye out for them (eBay? discount places?).

Hubby saw that in the second before the guy hit the floor said, "This could be messy."
At least men's is over so he can stop having to remember when he used to be able to do those kinds of moves.

Apparently I need to go to the nearest Forever 21 store and try on the b&w striped jacket they have.
Oh, happy wedding day to GC & lovely partner!

And he gets it all from the snackbar at the pool! (In my imagination anyway...he, and fellow Olympian Katie Hoff grew up swimming at the pool I go to here.

Did anybody catch the Hungarian weightlifter who lost control of his weight, but not his
grip,
and had his left elbow bent
the wrong way?
I've heard about that (the Hungarian weight lifter). Makes me cringe just hearing about it.
