I have 3 classes left to finish my grad degree and I'm so over it. Oh, I also have to do my portfolio (I went that route instead of the thesis cause I is lazy!).
I am Glamcookie (SWEET!) in this. Except I have "comps"- an essay test in the spring.
Yes, Ativan for anxiety and effexor for the depression.
Ooh, Effexor. Whatever you do, DON'T stop taking it and really, really, really try not to miss a dose. Withdrawl from Effexor is BRUTAL.
Seconding GC's question about taking ADs while pregnant. It's still a while off for me but any experience buffistas could share on the subject would be much appreciated.
Thank you, vw. Your support has meant so much.
What a lovely birthday gift, Scrappy. Good job, DH!
Nora, my grad school sistah! It is nice to be this close, though, isn't it? Of course, it'll be nicer come mid-December when it is OVER!!!!
Haven't had one of these in a while...
FUCKCAKE O' THE DAY!
Phone: ...so I says to the guy, I says "that's not a piccolo, my friend, and I don't think lard is the way to go." So he says...whoops! *ring*
Me: Oh, fuck them. What'd the ferret farmer say?
Phone: I'll tell you later. *ring*
Me: C'mon...
Phone: *ring*
FCO'tD: Hi, I'm Insufferable Fucktard from [client company].
Me: Hello.
FCO'tD: ...
Me: ...
FCO'tD: ...
Me: Can I help you with something?
FCO'tD: Yes. I was talking to this other woman the other day about family leave. I don't remember her name.
Me: Okay...
FCO'tD: ...
Me: ...and...?
FCO'tD: Can I talk to her again?
Me: Was her name [Co-worker]?
FCO'tD: ...
Me: ...
FCO'tD: ...
Me: Hello?
FCO'tD: It might have been. I don't know.
Me: I'll put you through to her voicemail.
I've been on Effexor before. I've never had withdrawl from ADs, and I have always been a bad girl and just stopped them.
Also, Scrappy's DH is the cutest! Nice bracelet, too.
Of course, it'll be nicer come mid-December when it is OVER!!!!
Sadly, since I'm only doing 1 class per semester, my freedom does not kick in until June- 1 fall class, 1 spring class, and the first summer session class.
I'll be able to walk with the regular commencement in the spring though! It just seems so far away.
It'll be here before you know it, Nora. I'm taking a summer school class right now (AINotFG) and 2 classes in the fall (one for fun - Young Adult Lit!!!). Doing my portfolio presentation in the fall.
The conversation in the thread the last 24-hours or so has reminded me that I really want to write a book that is essentially, "The Girlfriend's Guide to Anti-Depressants."
