One. Track. Mind.
I beg your pardon! My brain has at least four tracks, possibly five.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aw Geez, {{Nora & Tom}}
Lemme know if you'd like me to poke around on my Co.'s jobsite (seriously, HUGE multinational, we must have sites near you guys). And meanwhile, huge job-ma for Tom.
Heh, originally typed as "poka" around. My brain...she is always in the dance ...And now that the last vestiges of this friggin' cough seem to FINALLY be on the way out, come Wednesday night, my body will at last be in the dance again as well. Seriously, no Irish, no Swing, no Bellydance, no Ballroom for over two weeks...I'd be twitching if the cough hadn't left me so exhausted.
And, to tie into convo from a couple of days back, I defy anyone who thinks that being fat means your ass is permanently attached to a couch to read that list (and add in gym memberships) and come talk to me... grumble, grumble fat AND healthy, thankyewverymuch...
Oh, and Timelies, My Lovelies.
Sure, Epic- his title is Senior Software Engineer and his most recent work has been primarily Java and C++ related. He's looking in the Boston/Cambridge area.
Also, I am jealous of all your dancing shenanigans. Must... let... that... motivate... me!
2/3 of a breakfast burrito (it was huge)
Oooh, decently-close-to-ideal-job-ma, Vortex.
Who wants to visit so I can cook?
Oh, Oh, me! Me!
:: checks vacation time. checks bank balance. ::
Sigh. I still want to though.
Who wants to visit so I can cook?
Me! Me!
Too bad I'm on the other side of the country and am trying to conserve my vacation time...maybe you could visit me and cook? Seattle is wonderful in August.
Who wants to visit so I can cook?
Mememememe!
Nora, I'm so sorry about Tom's job. Fingers crossed he finds something soon that's better than what he left.

I'll see what there is to see.

I would be pleased and proud to serve as a motivating source...or force. Whichever. When I did martial arts I always tried to take part in demos, hoping that if anyone in the audience was feeling like they couldn't try stuff "in this shape" or "until I lose some weight" that they would see me up there and go, "Well if SHE can do it, I can." (Plus I like to center of attention, but that's neither here nor there *g*).

You RULE!
One of the cookbooks is proving especially distracting and tempting. It's called Tradewinds and Coconuts and it's all Pacific Island cooking, based primarily out of Guam.
Sampling of things already seen and wanting to try:
-Curried Sweet Potato, Banana and Brazil Nut Salad
-Avocado, Mango and Orange Salad with Honey-Sesame-Lime Dressing
-Kokoda, which is marinated fish and shrimp salad in coconut cream-- sort of a Pacific variation on Ceviche
I haven't even made it past the salads yet...

Obviously, you need to set up a blog to review all these dishes for us after you've tried them.
