Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Glad you're well, Shir, thanks for reassuring us.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't log into the Bank of America website. Grr.

I'm blanking on my logo project for my sister. Grr.

My cheek scar is suddenly pinker than Allyson's wall. Grr.

eta: no grr about Shir checking in, but a general grr for the violence.

Coding and Sleeping

Glad to hear you're ok Shir.

Speaking of the financial crisis, I was just thinking maybe I should write a letter to WaMu offering to lend them some money at a low introductory rate of 7.9% APR. increasing to 19% after the first three months

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

It's sad. I hang out there, a lot. One of my favorite places in J-city, and I planned to be there tonight, but decided going tomorrow night instead this afternoon.

Also, two of the most left-radical meeting places are within a minute walk from there. What's the point to try and hit people who might be in your favor?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm glad you're fine Shir, but I'm sorry to hear about the bombing.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And now they're saying on the news the Arab dwellers of the Old City and East Jerusalem (right next to where the attack took place) are finding it really hard to get back to their homes. I hope they'll get back to their homes ASAP, police sealed the area. It's such a flammable area of the city, and the peace within it based on respect, not fear.

I can still hear the sirens. I'm living close to a hospital, and the whole thing was just 10 minutes drive from me.

And channel 2 news just made me sick, shooting the body of the man who did it. God.

I think it's time to stop feeling bad, read Fables and go to bed.

It's not bombing, not anymore (and thank God for that). Now it's running-over attacks.

I'd say it's the new black, but honestly, because of where it happened and my great love to the area, I'm not in the mood.

Edit: according to Ynet.co.il, the target was a group of soldiers. 16 wounded.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm glad you're okay, Shir. Fables and bed sounds like a wise plan.

“Not dead yet!”

God, Shir. I'm glad you're safe, but feel awful at what's going on. The fables and bed definitely sound wise.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I have a cat in my lap. (Nova, of course. Luna has made herself scarce, as she often does)
