Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I thought that Lisa Edelstein's hair and makeup looked great, but her dress seemed too young for her.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH made two excellent observations today:

1. When Kurt Warner was being interviewed on PTI about how Matt Leinart was taking getting benched over Warner as QB for the Arizona Cardinals, he said that Leinart was "great about it" WHILE SHAKING HIS HEAD.

2. On 60 Minutes, John McCain was asked if Sarah Palin was ready to be president. He replied, "Absolutely" WHILE SHAKING HIS HEAD.

In both these cases, their body language directly contradicts what they were saying. Interesting.

Awwww. They're so cute before they're big enough to eat you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Awwww. They're so cute before they're big enough to eat you.

They really are. I wonder if their newborn bite is as icky as a grown up one. Or if they have to cultivate some of that noxious mess they keep in their mouths. It's ... so cute.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

They really are. I wonder if their newborn bite is as icky as a grown up one. Or if they have to cultivate some of that noxious mess they keep in their mouths. It's ... so cute.

Cultivate. Their teeth have serrations, in which bits of meat get stuck, facilitating the growth of toxic bacteria in their mouths. Komodo dragons in zoos are fed a less disease-ridden diet and have better oral hygiene, and don't develop the same toxic bite.

Our wings are not tired.

I missed the Emmys completely due to be completely unaware they were airing until I saw it here. Oh well, the morning write ups are filled with yawning about it.

Have a good week, all. I'm facing a big time crunch this week and have to invoke a strict Natter diet. sniff This working for a living thing sucks.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have a cold. So much do not want.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's quiet this morning.

We're all relieved that zoo komodo dragons have good oral hygiene....
