You don't work retail, right? Three hours standing/walking sounds like a lot more than a normal day! Much less all the rest of it.
Random people popping up on Facebook are killing me right now. Most recently, the awesome guy who played Jesus in my HS production of Godspell. Love.
I just realized that I know the guy running for Senate in my parents' district. I used to ice skate at the same rink as his daughter, who was a year or two younger than me.
Ugh msbelle, maybe it's the bad night's sleep? Is the friend still there?
I hope things work out better than they sound msbell. and I hate to say it -- but asthma coughs do that. However -- extra pillows or lift up the pillow end of the bed might help temporarily
I have discovered that is impossible to become really annoyed with argumentative people in a check-out line, even in 102° weather, if you've just come from a showing of Mama Mia! and still have the songs running through your head.
agreed
yes we only picked up the friend at 6. It's all good now, because they are entertaining each other and asking nothing of me. And the tired has not moved to make me cranky tired. I have an iced coffee and am ignoring the housework I was going to do in my room.
ooh, I'm glad the kids are keeping each other entertained.
Poor tired feets. Also the floors of the Met are hard, so that would make your feets sore.
I survived my seven hour bus ride. No psychokillers, but there was a little old lady who got on, and proceeded to walk the length of the bus and give people "Do you want to be saved?" pamphlets. (I politely declined.) I think my iPod has a sense of irony, because just as she came over to me, the song "Nonbeliever" came up on shuffle. I had to laugh.
Happy Anniversary to the Miracleborns and Scrappy & DH!
Congratulations to Team Emmett! That's awesome!
Congrats to David, Emmett, et al.! That's exciting!

I love when that kind of thing happens!
