Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know I'm always out of step politically here, but I'm still undecided. However, since y'all are still mad at me for voting Nader last time, I figure I'm in the good 'cause your guy's still in the running with me at this point.

Can you talk more about why? I'm genuinely curious.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I've been sitting here thinking about my neighbors running the country- L would have us adopting all the strays, spend a lot on the military , an have to be reminded that school spending is what pays for teachers. J cares nothing for politics, but as long as she can work nights, paint in tropical colors and do hula she'd have fun traveling and doing the diplomatic thing. M would us have daily jam sessions. where he would tell the same jokes , no matter how often you have heard them. His best trait -- he is really good at making people volunteer.P would make everybody go green . and stop calling spanish revival by that name ,because it isn't. and I haven't even got to the truely eccentric

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I'm not mad at you for voting your conscience, Liese. With the popular vote going the way it did in 2004, I don't think Kerry would have won even if everyone who voted for a third party candidate had picked him instead.

In other news, brunch. Om nom nom.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

This day/weekend have gone by far too quickly.

I did not do all the reading I was supposed to do. I did, however, make a crumble.

In that video, the kitty looks like he might be on Zyrtec,

Heh. The nick Zeb for Zebulon is still in the running. But WHY did I have to think of Loki?! I named one cat unwittingly after a god, I should have learned my lesson.

Dev is now responding to my "Devi, no!" when she goes into stalk mode.

In non-cat news, I got some jeans and a blouse. Blouse isn't what I was looking for, but it is something I'll wear anyway. Jeans were, as usual, insane sizing. That's usual with Old Navy. Try on 3 different pairs in the same size and cut and they all fit differently. These were looser through the leg than I wanted, but they stay up. I think I'm between (an ON averaged) 8 and 10.

I also managed to delete everything off the old computer. Not that I really worried my brother would snoop, but just one less thing for him to deal with. He'll probably do a total reinstall anyway.

Somewhat stupid question: I'm flying out there this week. Should I ship it fedex/ups or just check it? I'm tempted to do the latter, but a little worried about sticky fingers...though my brand-new roomba came through fine.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I have banana bread in the oven, have done some house-cleaning, and had the assessor over to measure and take pictures. Look valuable, house!

Now I get to try to update my website. Pray for me.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

But WHY did I have to think of Loki?! I named one cat unwittingly after a god, I should have learned my lesson.

Seriously, this sounds like such a recipe for disaster.
