Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Random FYI: I bought this dress at Target last week, and my Big Boss complimented me on it when I wore it. She often looks people up and down, but I think this is the first time she's actually said anything about how I looked. Twenty-five bucks!

hip deep in pie

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. There will be cake, and pie!

I just attempted to make homemade salsa. It kind of just looks gooey.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I knew coming home was a bad idea. I got back here at like 2, and I don't know if I'll get back into outside pants today.

I did have a productive morning, though -- got keys made and a hair trap thing for my shower, spoke at a grad school info session, got a necklace I've been wanting, avoided buying shoes, went to Trader Joe's and the farmer's market. So that's something...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I quake in fear that one day my tendency to go hide in my cave will trigger a Buffista check.

Me too. But then again, there's a good chance I'm lying face down in a ditch in my apartment somewhere.

Count me in as waiting impatiently for tommyrot news.

I am so sapped today. Quite sad. I have outside pants on, but it's not helping me get outside. But by this point I might as well mail the important letter any time before Monday at noon.

I just bought three pairs of super cute shoes for under $100.

SHOOZ OM NOM NOM.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Still no word from tommyrot? I am both worried, and feeling guilty that I didn't notice sooner.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I am both worried, and feeling guilty that I didn't notice sooner.

Ditto.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I have outside pants on, but I'm spending the day doing filing and cleaning. I even made rice pudding this morning. Nom nom nom.

I worry sometimes that if something happens to me, my online friends won't know. But then I remember that Java Cat knows my sister, so she'd find out and pass the word.

“Not dead yet!”

I bought the fixings for chili-- it may not quite be football weather 'round these parts, but I'ma making football food tomorrow, dammit.

Still nothing from tommyrot?
