Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

In other kid show news, PBS has a new superhero: Word Girl! She has all the power of words. Her sidekick is a monkey named...Capt. Huggyface.

I heard about Word Girl a while ago, and my quest since then has been to find a Word Girl t-shirt in adult sizes.

Consuela, I'd go for the Australia option!

But the Kilimanjaro thing, if it happens, is pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime thing. It would be for just the cost of getting to Africa, which isn't something I'd have the chance at again. Also, Kilimanjaro: this is the only of the seven summits I'll ever have the opportunity or skills to climb.

Basically, if Africa doesn't happen, I'll go to Australia. But I want to know soon, so I can let my friend know, and plan for it all.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I TOLD you guys that Yo Gabba Gabba rocks!

I remembered, which is why I looked it up when I was tired of Teletubbies.

I've also got Matilda watching my Pee Wee's Playhouse DVDs so we've got three shows in rotation.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh wow, you have to climb Kilimanjaro if you can. That'd be so cool!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Happy Birthday, Sue!!

It is wonderful the way Buffistas look after/care for one another.

Yeah. Australia would be totally awesome, but I feel like I can't pass on the chance to do Kilimanjaro.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Good luck on getting your first choice, Consuela.

Adding my "be safe" vibes for tommyrot.

Birthday Felicitations, Sue! May there be cake!

Hope tommyrot is ok.

Zephyr? I think Zeexer is off the table.

Ahrg, I have to go buy new jeans.

Cold War is getting warmer. No serious blows landed, but Devi definitely wants to put the fear of her into him. He recovers quickly, and isn't tryin to chase her anymore .He can fit under the low deck of the coffee table, I discovered. And is a paper shredder.

OK, back out into the world.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would love to do Killamanjaro!
