Zonker!

Barb, hope the kid recovers quickly.

It's funny how good names just don't work. My mental objections are insane. Too round. Too OW. Too tee. No abbreviation. Yeah, that's cool, but...no.

Good thing I'm probably not having kids.

Zeexer is in the running despite it reminding me of skeeter. I dunno. I'll wake up tomorrow with another notion.

“Not dead yet!”

Ugh, sorry Barb. Kids do manage to fall ill at the most inconvenient moments.

Thanks, Burrell-- I did have a fleeting moment of feeling badly that we hadn't believed him this morning, but then again-- twelve year-old boy on a Friday morning about a month into the school year? It was about time for the "I don' wannas" to strike.

I just peeked in on him and he's curled up just like he used to when he was a toddler. Poor noodle.

Zeexer looks great on the page, sara, but I'd fear for trying to say it before I've had my coffee in the morning. Although I will admit to a certain fondness for Skeeter.

And thanks-- I hope he does recover quickly, but he gets sick SO rarely that when it hits, it has a tendency to hit hard. (They barely recognize us at the pediatrician's.)

Zeek-ser.

We'll see.

sarameg, that may be an illegal amount of cute. I mean, what if Evil Terrorists had kittens? And they threatened to take them away unless we did whatever they demanded? I... guess that would be bad.. somehow? But as long as there would be kitties maybe nobody would care. Hm.

Anyway! I swear, I looked at the photo and said (out loud, to NOBODY) "omigod lookit the kitten!"

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Kate P in Literary suggested Zaphod.

Given the character traits being conveyed...

I like Zaphod. A lot. But it.just.doesn't.work. It's maddening.
