But Kitten is a long departed, nose-biting pure Burmese! He was my dad's first cat as an adult. Dad'd show up to dates with my mom with Kitten in his hankerchief pocket of his sportscoat. Dad got him as payment for housesitting. He was a character. I think he lived to 17+. He had a crooked tail from where it got run over when he wouldn't move from the driveway of a very slowly-backing out car. The nosebiting happened when he got really blissful. His eyes would cross and then LUNGE. I used to pet him holding my nose. He probably ate more of my babyfood than I did. I was a sucker from the get go. We have pictures of infant me cuddled up to him.
So adorable!
Kitten is cute too.
When I think of names starting with Z, I think of the woman in Nashville whose phone was listed as Zelda Zyzzywump, so she'd always be the last entry.
Based on that video, you might want to call him Rip van Winkel
Heh. He's just doing that kitten coma thing. I don't know a kitten that hasn't been pliable in sleep.
Awake now.
Coma kitty of cuteness!
Um, you both are pretty adorable in that vid, I have to say.
I'd call him Zounds, sarameg.
Well, it would appear my weekend plans are changing by the moment. Nate was complaining of being congested this morning. I assumed it was the "Crap, I've got a test in World History and it's Friday and I really don't want to go to school anyway," case of the sniffles.
Turns out they were real. Very real. As in the gets worse by the hour real. When we came home from dinner at my in-laws he divebombed straight into bed staying awake only long enough for me to feed him some Benadryl. I'm afraid he's also running a fever not so much because he was warmish, but because he had the rosy cheek syndrome going on.
We may not be having sleepover after all unless he miraculously recovers overnight.
