Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's it! Thank you.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Wow. If anyone follows the news from here, there were primary elections for Kadima party (the "center" party, but it's actually more to the right) yesterday, and Livni won Mofaz by 431 votes.

The next elections are gonna be very interesting, even if there isn't any really good candidate to vote for.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I saw that, Shir. I'm not really up enough on all the recent developments to really understand the implications, though.

Can't sleep. So I'm reading Girls of Riyadh, which is interesting enough that it's keeping me awake. I need to find a more boring book to read when I'm trying to get to sleep.

I don't think anyone is. It's the Middle East, things changes every 15 minutes.

“Not dead yet!”

Happy Birthday, erika!

As far as pet names, I've been tempted to name one Stitch, but it would seem that that's asking for trouble. Sort of like my college friend who named his black cat Lucifer, called him Lucy, then wondered why it was the most ill-tempered beast on the planet. Peed in the floor vents and wasn't even stealthy about it.

I like Hec's musical selections. If I was going that direction, I might consider Brubeck or if you didn't have a thing about the people name, Vince, for Vince Guaraldi.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My first "personal" cat was Toshiro -- I named him in the expectation he'd be fierce and gruff and heroic, but as it turned out a better name would have been Dom DeLuise....
