Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks, beth! The kids are being remarkably good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I guess my super isn't coming by tonight like I thought... The good news is, that means a shower in the morning for sure.

Safe travels, Cash!

I am a dork. Better pictures, too.

Miss Louise and Nakia stopped by for a brief visit.

Thing on a stick is a win.

(Sorry, I just haven't had a kitten in 11 years!)

Have you named kitty yet? Do you have any ideas? He is completely adorable. Wait, is he a he or a she?

information libertarian

Kittens are so fun. Unfortunately my cat is totally boring.

I just called our cell, since mr. flea wasn't picking up the land line, and he answered, "Hello, we're at the circus." WTF? It is 9:20pm on a school night!?! With a 5 and 2 year old?? What fucking circus, anyway? He said he'd explain when I got home. I don't know if this working Tuesday nights thing is going to work out. Some grownup needs to be home in my house, and clearly my husband is not qualified right now.

He's a he. No ideas on names yet. Tiger doesn't really fit, and I don't call him that. Mostly just little boy or baby boy or stinker or sneaky. (Devi is baby/babe/little brat/sweetie. MK is boyo or bubba.) Gotta get to know him better. Devi took 3 weeks. MK, well, he came as "Kitty" and wasn't a youngster ready for a totally new name. So Mister got added and he's definitely a Mister.

He's so narrow. Long tail and legs but he's probably maybe 3 inches wide.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am a dork. Better pictures, too.

I am a bigger dork-- I just made my cat look at pictures of your kitten!

After my drama at the theatre with the full-time job madness, I have some good news! I don't have to have any lab students this semester! They are moving to the props person because their hours don't mesh with mine well. This will cut my work in half, if not more! My interns can be really self sufficient, so we are planning to meet one night a week and do most of the rest of our stuff on our own time, communicating by phone and email ! This is so wonderful, but the funny thing is my bosses feel horrible because they are taking away my help...but they are just making my life so much easier because I don't have to plan lessons or grade anything, and I am still getting paid the same amount. I have been telling them for years that every unskilled person "helping" me doubles my time spent on something, but no one believes me. I just think it takes so much more time to get up to speed in costumes, because the students who are drawn to lights are electrical engineering majors, the ones drawn to set are often mechanical engineering majors, but the ones drawn to costumes are often anthro or psych majors, and there isn't a lot of skill correlation.

Good news, Sophia!

Man, I need to scrub the outside of my trashcan. I can see the spills in the pictures. Mostly from coffee, but ick.
