"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

A Queequeg action figure would be awesome.

Congratulations, aunt and prof!

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Sara, what a pretty cat. He reminds me a little of my old cat, Anne. (I still miss her)

My guys are pretty much ignoring him. They watch him warily when he's exploring, but are currently sprawled on the floor, Mister Kitty sleeping and Devi occasionally glancing his way. He's the one hissing when they get too close....which they ignore.

Ah, such a setup for heartbreak.

At least I know they won't go ballistic.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Thank you all for the well wishes.

It will be Thanksgiving when we finally get to meet one another. I'll have camera ready, though! Now I can buy all sorts of amazing girly gifts. I think Amelia needs a Gothic Charm School item, too.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

ita, I know this is belated, but you left your last job on really good terms, yes? Is it possible you could get permission to use a redacted document? If they said it was OK that takes care of the ethical issues. And even if it is too late for this job, it might be a good thing to have.

Fingers crossed: she just came by to hold the cat for an hour or so. I don't know that I'll see him again, but she said "she just wanted to hold him." He's next door. I told him she can visit anytime. I *think* this is the grandniece in question. No telling.
