Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

That's great Burrell. Especially since Associate is usually a sign that you have tenure. Glad to see them loosen up about things like that and give non-tenure people their due.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Congratulations, Burrell! That's great news.

My friend was more amused, esp when her daughter expressed interest in getting a Quiqueg (sp?) action figure.

If you find a Queequeeg action figure let me know. I'll get it for Corwood's next birthday.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Does Archie McPhee have one? If one exists, I imagine they have it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Burrell (Associate Professor Burrell, I mean) I'm probably overthinking things, but my average business requirements document is 10-15 pages gleaned from hours of interviews with more than one person. The recruiter says she usually has problems with getting applicants who can supply what they want, so at least I have company.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks everybody!

but my average business requirements document is 10-15 pages gleaned from hours of interviews with more than one person.

Whoa. Not the kind of thing you'd want to invent out of thin air in other words. Yeesh.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Congrats, Prof!
