Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

It wasn't supposed to be as humid today. Instead, it was hotter AND more humid. Fun.

I managed to get some more pants. So I now officially have enough pants to wear that fit. My floors and bathroom are now clean.

I'm currently not listening to Sunday's ATC. Every 20 minutes or so there is a station identification part, but dead air the rest of the time. Oops.

Art Crawl!!!

Dana, glad that the old house is mostly okay.

Having another frustrating knitting day.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I've discovered my latent, and in retrospect totally predictable, addiction to Rock Band. This is YAY. But, sadly, it happened on a weekend when I have a lot of homework. I'm playing the game of "finish a mindless stats problem, learn a new song", but the smarter (if less helpful) half of me keeps saying, "it's not really a new song if I just replay that last one..."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'd love to see you, and if the price is doing some laundry, I could probably deal with it.

We probably should have thought of that before school started again, huh? I totally approve of Chikat in the Bay area though. It needs to happen.

Outside can be good!

It's problematic when there's a monsoon, though. My shoes were making squelching noises by the time I got home.

How is work going?

Good! Still training, doing small projects, and trying to avoid starring in any videos that other teams are putting together for some big client thingy.

I'm glad the work is going well.

I can see how this would be a problem, yes.

No Monsson here, but I keep spending money like WOAK whenever I leave the house. At least today it was the farmer's market (pumpkin bolani and spicy cheese curds) instead of the mall (shoes, a skirt, and two shirts).

Fans of Hustle and/or of Christian Kane, there's a new TNT show coming in December that might appeal. [link]

And fans of Coupling - it's got Gina Bellman in it.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Geez Louise-- I think we are getting the monsoon that was in Chicago earlier! At least it is going to cool down.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Fans of Hustle and/or of Christian Kane, there's a new TNT show coming in December that might appeal.

Forget all that -- it's got Timothy Hutton!
