Natter 60: Gone In 60 Seconds
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm going to sleep most of this weekend. I probably should check to see if any baby bands are having shows, but I'm fighting off some form of ick. I want to rest up so I don't have to call in sick during my first month on the job.
I'm going to K-ville to pick up Dad tomorrow, and then Sunday we're driving up to Chincoteague.
I can see wanting to isolate after therapy. I can't articulate why, but I get it.
But then, I gotta isolate after people, so...
I'm hopefully getting my ass down to Hampden.
Also need to clean and seriously scrub litterboxes.
Went to tell Miss Louise about the rescheduling and got totally loved on by the kitten. He was all floppy and lazy (I can hold him in one hand, all folded up. Got loooong legs.) He's a really sweet thing. Of course, I'm always seeing him during his napping hours, so. But he hopped off the bed, and just flumped on my foot, gazing up adoringly. There better be nothing wrong with him, cause he's totally charmed me.
So I listened to an interview with this local guy, Angelo Solera, on the radio, and went to his website. His gallery here [link] reminds me of why I loved Spain's terrain so much. Even on the Mediterranean coast, it reminded me of NM. (I was just looking at a friend's family reunion photos in NM, and..yeah.)
Oh and I got a call from the CDC!
But they didn't want to talk to me because I don't have any kids and it was a childhood immunization survey thing.
Remember when I said I'm getting much better about leaving on time? Still. Here.
Le sigh.
What are people doing this weekend?
Hopefully seeing Iron Man (finally) and maybe the new Coen Bros.
Other than that? Blessedly NOTHING!!!!
I logged on to look something up. . . but I can't remember what it was.
I shall knit and finish reading the book club book this weekend.
I took all of next week off. I have no plans but to go to bootcamp and possibly take the cat to a specialist.
