Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

"What's a warrior without his pride? Nothing. My favorite warrior is Achilles -- No! Ajax. Ajax is so beast-mode. Ajax is so cool they named a soap after him. It sucks that Paris killed Achilles. Paris is such a noob."

Big Ajax or Little Ajax? There are two.

And Paris is such a noob. An emo noob.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sophia--that is all kinds of wrong, IMO!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Right next to the Isle of Slash.

Now I want to see that map as a Risk-style game so you can play out how Facebook invades and takes over the Friendster peninsula and our new Google overlords sweep across the steppes.

I'm the only one without teenagers at home. Parents these days!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Any chance you'll be there the 10th?

Nope, not til the 15th.

Sophia, I hate to say this, but clearly you are doing as much work as they need done, so why would they change anything in costumes?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I love "the compass rose-shaped island"!

Thanks-- I just want some validation, because I pretty much feel like I want to throw up on the floor. Especially since I found out because I was giving my students a "who's who" rundown on the personell and was telling them about our prop person who was part-time, like me, and the students told me I was wrong!

She doesn't even have to teach lab, and she has two well qualified student assistants to do the actual prop building (they are art majors).

I am pretty sure it is because she said she was going to have to look for full-time work because she was pretty much working at the theatre full-time and not getting paid for it, but way to make me feel like crap! They have added 3 full time positions since I started, and the only person who has worked there longer than I have is the artistic director.

Sorry to vent-- I am just full of rage and bile right now.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

maybe if you didn't keep talking about your igloo, people wouldn't do that...

Nyah.

Sophia, I am so sorry for the crap the theater's pulling. Maybe do a slow-down until they see the necessity for a full-time costumer?
