We tried some new kind of mouse trap that looked like a big pincher clip, and, swear to god, the mice were running across the trigger bit without a care. The thing went off--slowly--maybe 10% of the time. So back to the quick snap wire trap.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've decided I have the nose of a six year old. That's the crux of my age problem.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That whole "steal your nose" thing is just supposed to be a game, ita.

Please insert comments about your sister here.

Okay! My sister was bitten on the ass by a grouse.

because those mice are smart I tell you what.

My mother told me when we were having our mouse troubles that when she was a kid her father used to burn a match near the mousetraps that had caught one so that the future mice wouldn't smell the one just caught.

To all the crafty Buffistas:

I've become bitten by a jewelry making bug. What are good, fairly cheap sources of glass beads? I'm not looking for really fancy ones, my tastes run to small bits of individual colors.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

connie, Fire Mountain Gems has a range of price/quality glass beads. They also have sales. Also, try a craft store - Michaels, A.C. Moore, or Jo Ann Fabrics might have some.

Someone just called my home line (reserved for family and BFF) and said "Hello...hello" in response to my hello and hung up. Freaks.

Watching Dawson's Creek because of Fringe. I have 7 minutes before I leave for the doc and already have a migraine, so what's to lose? I get baby Pacey.
