Love isn't brains, children, it's blood, blood screaming inside you to work its will.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Solid food, I miss thee

Hee. I'm biting out of one side of my mouth--it's very exciting.

I need to be sleeping, but I slept so long today (the light hurt my eyes too much to try anything else) so I'm up too late. But at least I'm doing work application stuff inbetween clearing off the TiVo. Watching the extreme plastic surgery episode of Secret Lives of Women. It's not quite what I thought. Only one is a woman having her face done and done and done--the other is a woman tidying up after gastric bypass. There's a bit of judgey judgey there because she's about to embark on 33K more surgery while they're still paying of the previous $60K--they already had to move from NorCal to, like, Dakota to free up money.

Huh. Doctor just said of her "I think she likes surgery." Those are scary words.

And the third woman is MTF who's already had her genitals done, but really, still looks like a 6'3 man. So face, boobs, and waist/hips. That doesn't strike me as addiction of any sort.

Swouncing

So, um, I skipped.

But I had a good reason! According to the Buffista Calendar, today is Trudy Booth's birthday.

Happy birthday, Trudy! With lots of wishes for a wonderful year!

[Edit: And I miss all y'all! It just that, I think that the only way to explain my total cocooning in the past couple of weeks is that I'm hibernating, as much as it's possible to do something like that in the Israeli summer and without a proper cave. And falling asleep in front of a computer is not safe for either the sleeper or the computer, so I hardly ever check how the outside world is doing any more. But once I stop having a baby's sleeping schedule, I definitely hope to post properly, finally, once more.]

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo Birdies, Trudy!

Nilly, after an epic effort like you just did, I'm not surprised you haven't slept for a month!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Happy fucking birthday, Trudy!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, Trudy!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Happy birthday, Trudy!
