I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I honestly tried to finish all my work, but right now it just seems too daunting.

Seriously. Work just went boom today. SO MUCH

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sigh. I can't finish. I'm going to bed instead.

Me too. I got to the point where I don't feel like I'm going to be drowning tomorrow, so that's a plus, right?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

ita, no. Hotchner never smiles. Ever. Strangely, I still like him.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Good night, Burrell and Perkins! Sleep for me too, OK?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tonight's ep was the one where he's called in the amnesia trial and he totally profiles the defense lawyer in front of the whole court. Gotta love that. Wouldn't marry that, but I would love it.

As far as I've seen, Morgan's a bit of a superhero. Goodlooking, bright, athletic, and eerily adjusted to the gore of the job. I understand there's some Chicago ep where he's a little more human. I'd love to see that emo eyebrow action.

eta: The season promos totally give away the results of the cliffhanger. Bad sport.

Speaking of work I meet a recruiter tomorrow in Arcadia. That's a huge distance from here. I set up the meeting at 11 so hopefully I miss traditional rush hour. Any localistas have any idea how much time I should give myself? I'm gonna try 90 minutes, hoping that contains cushion.

I hope I'm not offending anyone's religious beliefs by posting this, but a friend emailed me the next quote out of this article: "The Catholic church seems to be acknowledging that no one in their right minds would want to be a priest these days".

Thanks, Shir. My biggest concern is appearing like the sort of person that goes around smashing into furniture.

Which, you know, I am.

Yikes! I hope he didn't ask me to bring a printed copy of my resume. That would be silly, right? Damn. I smell an earlier departure in my future. Gotta stop by Kinko's.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Good luck, ita.

Still awake. Too much caffeine plus aching hip equals no sleep for Hil.
