Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Nutty!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'll second the Verizon sucks sentiment. I called them today to have our work account for a wireless card switched from my co-worker to me. Easy, right? Nope, have to upgrade the card and switch to a different billing structure, which causes us to have a 2 year contract (we had completed our contract on my co-worker's account). Took half a damned hour. Argh.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

This should be sent to anyone who's being overly dramatic about anything.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Happy Birthday, Nutty!

This should be sent to anyone who's being overly dramatic about anything.

Can I please have this installed on a wall in my classroom? (not that my Drama students are ever dramatic about anything)

Sometimes living in a hellish small town has it's moments. I wore my "It sucks to be me" t-shirt from Avenue Q to the gym this afternoon. My students thought it was brillient. (I am raising good little thespians) People at the gym kept looking at me like I was a bit off my rocker and the cutie at the desk asked, with a concerned face, "Why does it suck to be you?" Then I ran into Publix on the way home to get some food, including the most amazing mini-eclairs (1 small one can't kill my diet!). Between the funny looks from people, the people brave enough to ask why my life sucked, and the odd, blank expressions when tring to explain, I have to laugh at this crazy backwoods town. Well, it's either laugh or cry.

hip deep in pie

Skipping a lot to say Happy Birthday to Nutty!

I woke up all headachey and gross and ended up sleeping all day. I feel very disoriented tonight.

Can I please have this installed on a wall in my classroom? (not that my Drama students are ever dramatic about anything)

I used to tell my melodramatic actor friends to "get off the stage" when they were making mountains out of molehills. If nothing else, it separated the ones with senses of humour about themselves from the ones without.
