And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wait, I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying I should worry about the calories first, then worry about cutting out the carbs? Because I'm actually not finding it that hard to count calories.

I don't think all calories are created equal. Some foods will "last" a lot longer and help you maintain blood sugar levels. Protein is better than carbs for long term satisfaction and complex carbs are better than simple carbs. Sorry if this makes it more complicated.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Does anyone have recommendations for iPod (any mp3 player, really) earbuds that actually FIT? Apparently I have small, skinny ear canals and any round earbuds just flee in terror.

Links would be keen if anyone has earbuds they like.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Tep, have you tried the sport earbuds that go over the ear, like these: [link] ? I'm completely incapable of using any plain earbuds for exactly the reason you're describing, but I love over-the-ear thingies to death.

(But please note that the above link is a stylistic illustration and isn't my actual buds, because I'm an audio imbecile who is happy with the 10-dollar drugstore kind.)

I have the same problem, plus my ears are apparently delicate flowers and so far I haven't managed to use ear anything that don't irritate the hell out of them. Even talking on a phone for a long time makes them hurt.

Ever since I drove in the pouring rain of Hanna, my car smells like something died in it. Sigh.

Happy Birthday Nutty!

Ugh sarameg, I hope your week starts going better.

I first I thought Palin was a good pick, then I started to have doubts, now I'm starting to think it was an absolute home run. I think I'm too influenced by the media coverage. Maybe I need a week of ignoring it and let the convention momentum settle now. I'm becoming more pessimistic though.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Re: the Thakoon collection.

Spats. Lots and lots of spats. Really? I don't get it.

Do they sort of sit outside the ear canal, rather than snuggling into it? If I have earbuds that sit outside the ear canal, I have to crank up the volume (which is more a failure of my auditory physiology than the earbuds, I'm aware).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Teppy, I've had these since I first got an iPod, and I love them.

Meanwhile, I got up to call into a 7AM conference call, which is at 9AM everyone else's time, and it's pretty much all about fallout from Gustav. I do not need to be on this call. And yet here I am.
