“Not dead yet!”

Pie, nom nom nom. I need to make a Chocolate Almond Pie.

I think I shall make a Key lime pie this weekend.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yummmm, key lime pie...

(I have a serious weakness for anything citrusy, especially desserts and juices. I'm starting my diet up again tonight, so most sweet stuff is out the door, but I'm keeping my fridge stocked with concentrates of orange juice and lemonades.)

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I think I shall make a Key lime pie this weekend.

Wants to go to Barb's house for Key lime pie. I haven't had a good Key lime pie in ages.

hip deep in pie

I've never made a cream pie. Maybe that should be my next project.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Question: if You were ating a banana cream and chocolate cream layered pie, which layer would you like to see on top?

The banana has to be on the bottom so you can put that layer of sliced bananas down on the crust before the filling goes in. Otherwise they'll get all mixed up in the chocolate and it's madness!

Now I need pie.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

What if you don't know there's banana in the pie, though? If it's not on top, then it's like stealth banana.

That's when you drizzle chocolate sauce over the heavy whipped cream and place chocolate-dipped banana slices in the swirls of cream.

What??

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How about chocolate cream on top with banana slices? That works.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Why aren't there ice cream and pie delivery services? I'm far more likely to want ice cream than pizza if I don't feel like leaving the house.

In Chapel Hill/Carrboro we have tarheeltakeout.com, which will pick up food from various restaurants as well as Ben and Jerry's and Coldstone Creamery and deliver it. If they picked up margaritas I'd never leave the apartment.
