My neck hurts. I think it's the poor ergo of the chair/laptop.

I'm going to get off line and fold clothes and watch last night's project runway and try not to think about the fact that we had to evacuate the pool today due to a "contamination issue."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But it's fake for me- I'm really 3 hours later.

Oh yeah -- I had some great visits with an early bird friend when she lived on the west coast. Either way, it worked out for both of us!

"contamination issue."

t singsong Someone pooped in the pool! t /singsong

Don't freak out. It's gross, but really, the chlorine more than takes care of it. Just think of how many kids are peeing in there and you never know!

Uh, ok, maybe that might freak some out.

Somehow, unless I come into physical, visible contact with ook, I'm pretty blase. Until I'm not.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Considering I found Olivia sitting in the toilet today, contamination doesn't freak me out.

I said in not on.

Oh, Cash. The toilet issues you've had!

I know! Good thing I'm not freaked out by germs or general grossness.

Liv just laughed at me and said, "Bath, Mommy!" I said, "Yes, you're getting a bath!" and plopped her in the tub right away. I have to wash every bathroom rug we have because they're all soaked with toilet water.

At least Owen has stopped flushing random toys and is 100% toilet trained. I'm ready for Liv to start the process but I realize it will probably be another year before she's done with this phase.

Swouncing

Poking my head for a minute, even though it's not yet August 1st on board time (the network here is having problems, in the best tradition of what-else-can-go-wrong-with-a-computer, so I'm trying to get what I can when I can, and not wait), but it's already August 1st on my timezone and several others, and it's Shir's birthday.

Happy birthday, Shir! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Also, I wish I could pinpoint the exact date, but I distinctly remember that Sheryl and her DH's anniversary is at the beginning of August, so I'll just put it on here as the 1st, and already, too early or not, send lots of wishes for the both of them, as well!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Guess who's back? Back again?

Kitty's back!

Odd that it was the morning after I put up the posters that she showed back up on the stoop. Almost as if she'd been in a neighbors apartment and they let her back out. Hmmm.

I was out on the balcony and heard a strange chirp. And then I listened closely, and another odd bird-like sound. So I chirped back. It was like the afternoon I'd found her buried under a pile of plywood 30 sheets deep (with other detritus on top that I had to excavate), crying like a little bird, me calling back through the garage and out the back until I found the source of the sound.

Thanks for all the support!

I think I'm going to be a little late for work, there's several days of snuggling and scritchies that need to be made up for.

That's wonderful news, Juliebird.
