I love my buffistas. I sent K-Bug a text after y'all posted here cause she is down in the East Bay visiting friends. She freaked that I knew there had been a quake. She still hasn't figured out how I knew. Goofy kid.
Glad y'all are ok.

lol I found out because someone mentioned it on Second Life so I had to come here to make sure everyone is okay.
Made the bed lurch in SF.
wow - jeez people, be safe, the earth is rebelling.
Stand up for Cancer made me cry.
Earthquake, yikes.
Colbert has David Paterson on. I had no idea he was so cool.
How do you think he pulls all the ladies??
I am trying to decide how ambitious to be this morning. I'm afraid the answer is: not that ambitious.
Timelies, all. Hanna's currently over my area, which translates into a slightly emphatic rainstorm. It pushed a lot of lovely cool air this way, so I have all my protected windows open and my apartment smells like rain (and coffee). Lovely!
Timelies everyone. Glad the earthquake wasn't too bad and am laughing at K-Bug's not figuring out how Suzi knew so fast.
Stand up for Cancer made me cry.
Ditto. Especially during "Imagine." When Forest Whittaker read the story of the mother who heard her son's first heartbeat and felt his last, I totally lost it.

Hurricanes never do this down here-- perhaps NC is really the way to go. Although Maine's been looking mighty tempting. It's as far north as I can get on Useless 1.
Timelies all!
Rain, rain and more rain here. A little wind, too, but I guess that's to be expected.
We've got rain on and off here, too. If you look at a current weather map, you can see that it's part of the Hanna system, which should give you an idea how freakin' big it is.
And will only keep raining, on and off, all weekend. Which, goodness knows, we can use, since it's been more like 2 weeks since the last major rainfall.

Think of it as a lovely gift from its current location in the Carolinas. We were going to send barbecue instead, but we eated it.
