That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

kids don't make very good carnitas.

Ship them down to Mexico for some proper training. They can learn.

Lidocaine's wearing off. I wish I knew if my bendy straw could hold up to cocoa. I really want cocoa.

The hospital is so much my cheers that Polgara managed to get recognised when she went in by herself. I'm not proud.

I have pork chops in the freezer. Mmmm.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think your bendy straw could survive cocoa. However, if you have only one bendy straw and your bendy straw is your only method for ingesting fluids, I would perhaps not risk it.

Unless you really really want to.

Hee. I wonder what Cash's DH would have thought if he'd been my dad when I won two fish at the county fair. Actually, I'm not entirely sure what my dad thought. I had a habit of winning ridiculously large and improbable prizes at fair contests. At first they always thought I wasn't going to win, but eventually they started checking the prizes available before they'd let me play.

I think fish are a fairly reasonable impulse pet.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So...basically Reavers then, huh?

I'd say that's a yes.

Cocoa it is. Straw seems to be holding up well. I hope it's not going to give me cancer.

Anyone watch Cold Case? I'm getting a bit addicted. The structure of interviews and reveal are pretty consistent, and I don't get the lead blonde (and hate her hair). I think it's the music and the flashback mechanism. At the very end as they cuff the people who did it and show you everyone else then and now, and then you see one of the detectives (usually bad hair chick) look at an apparition of the victim who nods appreciatively--well, I find the music choices often interesting.

I mean, I finally dig Don't Stop Believing, which I don't think I'd ever heard beginning to end before. Not to mention Secret Garden. But worst/best was Strange Fruit which I've actively avoided but was transfixed by last night. That must be a cool gig, picking those.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Seriously, ita, if there's ever anything I can do, please let me know. Now that I can drive myself, I never get lost.

I am sleepy. Why do I have to work again tomorrow?

So you can hang out with Scrappy?

Most recent injury.

Hmm. I think this episode of Cold Case is using Rocky Horror! And has an ex of Colin's in it.

I must test you on that someday.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Holy ass, ita! That looks painful. I have something that might ease your pain, though: [link]
